How do I apply for free SSL?

We provide Free SSL Certificates for your domains to enhance the security of your websites when they're using our services such as Forwarding, Parking, Website Builder, For Sale Landing Page, or Dynadot DNS.
The free SSL certificates will be automatically issued and installed for your websites. However, if your domains use a third-party web host, you will need to manually download and install the SSL certificates on the websites yourself.
To get your free SSL certificates, please follow these steps:
The free SSL certificates are valid for 3 months. Our system will automatically renew your certificates about one month before they expires, as long as your domains continue to use Dynadot name servers. However, you will need to reinstall the SSL certificates on your web servers after they're renewed.

To get your free SSL certificates, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Dynadot account.
- Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and click "Manage Domains" in the drop-down.
- Click on the domain name you want to apply for the SSL (it should be a link).
- Scroll down to the "Free SSL" section and click the arrow on the right to request the SSL certificates.
- Once the SSL certificates are generated completly, unlock your account and download the certificates.
