How to import external domains for management in your Dynadot account?

Updated: 2026/08/26Viewed times: 100

The External Domain Import feature lets you manage eligible domains registered with supported registrars directly from your Dynadot account. This allows you to manage domains across multiple registrars from a single interface without transferring the domains to Dynadot.

How to Import External Domains

  1. Sign in to your Dynadot account.
  2. Go to My Domains > Manage Domains.
  3. Select the Other Registrar tab.
  4. Click Add Domains and choose External Domain Import.
  5. Select your current registrar from the list.
  6. Enter the required account information, such as your login name or account identifier at that registrar.
  7. Follow the instructions to push the domains into Dynadot's designated management account at your current registrar.
  8. After the push is complete, your domains will appear under the Manage Domains - Dynadot tab and can be managed directly through the Dynadot interface.

Please note:

  • By submitting this request, you acknowledge that the registrant contact information for the domain will be automatically updated to Dynadot's information.
  • Domain privacy is enabled by default and cannot be disabled through Dynadot.

  • The availability of specific operations may vary depending on the domain's TLD and the registrar's restrictions.
  • We are continuously expanding support for additional registrars and management operations.
