How do I add a contact form to my Website Builder?
To add a contact form to your Website Builder, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Dynadot account.
- Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar.
- Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use.
- Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Tools" option on the left-hand tool bar.
- Click on and drag the "Contact" icon to the place you want it to appear on the page.
- To move your text box, hover over the box and use the "Move" icon that appears in the top-right corner of the text box to drag it to a new location.
- To remove the text box, hover over the box and use the "Trash" icon that appears in the top-right corner.
- To save your changes, click on the "Save" button at the top right of the page.
The contact form asks for name, email, phone number and message by default. By clicking the gear icon in the top-right corner, you can change their order, rename them, custom size/style of the input box or add new fields. Additionally, for Phone Number, Message or other new fields you add, you can also change their input types. Available options are:

Text: Single-line input box

Textarea: Multi-line input box

Password: Masked input for sensitive information

Email: For email addresses

Tel: For phone numbers

Select: A drop-down menu for options

Checkbox: Multiple choice options

Radio: Single choice options

Date: Date picker (format: yyyy/mm/dd)
Once you have successfully added your contact form, you should set the email address for your contact form, so you can receive messages at the email address of your choice. Please note that if you do not set a specific email, contact form messages will be sent to your Dynadot account email.
