How to Display My Domains in Camel Case
Обновлено: 2025/08/04Просмотров: 192
Camel case is a formatting style where words in a domain name are joined without spaces, with each word starting with a capital letter (e.g., MyWebsite.com instead of mywebsite.com).
While you can format how your domain names appear using camel case, please remember that domain names themselves are case-insensitive. This means mywebsite.com, MyWebsite.com, and MYWEBSITE.COM all lead to the exact same website. The Domain Name System (DNS) does not distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters.

How to Apply Camel Case to Specific Domains:
- Sign in to your Dynadot account.
- Navigate to "My Domains" and select "Manage Domains."
- Check the box next to the domain(s) you wish to format.
- Click the "…" (more options) icon and choose "Edit CamelCase" from the menu.
- Click "Save Settings."
How to Set Camel Case as a Default Display Preference:
- Sign in to your Dynadot account.
- In the "My Domains" section, click on "Domain Defaults."
- Click the "Use CamelCase" button.
- Activate the toggle by setting it to "Yes".
Notes:
- For domains with random character strings (e.g., gsdfsdfsd.com), the camel case display may not be applied and show the original format.
- IDNs (Internationalized Domain Names) which use non-Latin characters, do not support camel case formatting. Only English (ASCII) domain names can be displayed this way.
